Romney, on his 'True Strength for America's Future' website Mitt Romney has his list of campaign issues as: Defeating the Jihadists, Competing with Asia, Taxes, Immigration, Energy, Education and yes, finally, Healthcare

Romney, as governor of Massachusetts, installed a pretty bold plan that seems to be working pretty well for the most part. However he's distanced himself from it somewhat, because it's a more progressive plan than his likely GOP voters might back

Romney doesn't think we can afford to have uninsured people because they cost too much to the rest of us when they do get sick

Romney's federalist reform plan, the proposals all seek to spur greater patient choice of insurers, doctors and potential treatments

Did Jetton move bill to support Romney?

The Web gap “is something to be concerned about, but it’s not doomsday,” said Mindy Finn, Romney’s director of “e-strategy.” “There’s a lot of time between now and November 2008. The day that there’s a nominee on both sides, it becomes a completely different race.”

Mitt Romney believes American values, not Mormon doctrine, should rule a President.

Thompson's folksy candor, which his advisers had thought would be a priceless asset to his late-breaking presidential campaign, instead has sometimes produced a comedy of errors that has forced his long-suffering aides to patiently amplify and correct his vague pronouncements

DC Insider Thompson defends his lobbying

MUST READ:
Fred Thompson is clearly in over his head! In both his fumbling pre-candidacy period and his hesitant, attenuated post-announcement campaign, he’s given the clear impression that that he is ill-informed, inarticulate, badly briefed and downright lazy.

Thompson is counting on his conservative positions on social issues and the wunder-dust generated by his “Law & Order” stardom to propel him into the lead in the presidential race. But, as Harriet Miers’s failed candidacy for the Supreme Court suggests, one does not just need to be conservative to prevail. It takes a little talent, too. Thompson seems to lack the interest, energy, will, ability and stamina to compete at this level.

Romney, who has spent a considerable amount of money in the state, has struggled to convince voters of his conservatism, thanks to several recent conversions he's undergone. According to Woodard, there's another reason Romney hasn't connected: "Fred Thompson says 'y'all,' and Mitt Romney doesn't."
